The "open innovation"
USA National Innovation Marketplace is designed to connect manufacturers to technology and business opportunities resulting in new markets and new products necessary for growth. The Marketplace accelerates these connections and communications between Sellers and Buyers of innovations through two-way publishing of offerings and requests using standardized formats. For example, a large consumer or industrial products company may post a request for a new product idea and a small manufacturer or inventor may find the request and offer to license, manufacture, and partner or sell their innovative product or service to fill the request.
The
USA National Innovation Marketplace is supported under the US Department of Commerce NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), of which the MassMEP, NHMEP and Maine MEP are affiliates. The new, updated digital hub also leverages the human network of the MEP project managers that work with small manufacturers every day.

Manufacturers with assistance from MEP experts, if needed, can search or browse the more than $1.2B in requests to see if any may be a fit to improve their potential for growth.

Manufacturing & Expertise Registry - This listing creates a free web site with high credibility and search visibility. It tells what makes a company, organization, or other expert great and links to their primary business website.
