Special Conference Co-Sponsored by MassMEP, AME and Industry Week June 2nd - June 4th WALTHAM, MA - Representatives from the ten 2002 Best Plant award winners chosen by Industry Week Magazine, will share the concepts and practices that have earned them the reputation as the top plants in North America, at a conference at the Westin Waltham-Boston Hotel on June 2nd through June 4th. Sponsored locally by the Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership, Industry Week Magazine and the Association for Manufacturing Excellence, the conference is an opportunity for local manufacturers to learn how the Best Plants winners nurtured teamwork and surmounted challenges while implementing "lean" manufacturing strategies, Six Sigma quality initiatives, and other world-class practices.
