General Dynamics C4 Systems to Receive MassMEP Lean Manufacturing Award Taunton Manufacturer Recognized at Ceremony on Friday, June 24, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. State Senator Marc Pacheco will present a Lean Principles implementation award to Taunton manufacturer General Dynamics C4 Systems on behalf of the Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MassMEP) on Friday, June 24, 2005 at 10 a.m. General Dynamics C4 Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), is receiving the award for proactively implementing Lean Principles, which help manufacturers strengthen their company and create new business opportunities by streamlining production processes, and reducing waste and inventory. General Dynamics C4 Systems has been working with MassMEP for the past two years to educate its workforce in Lean techniques.
