Dates Set for Mass. Business Executives Leadership Program
MassMEP & New England Coaching Offer Training on Feb. 15 & 16 and May 10 & 11
Worcester, MA - The Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MassMEP) has set dates for The Leadership Transformation Training Program, designed to provide the state's business owners and senior executives with essential skills to develop and enhance their leadership abilities. This unique program takes place on Wednesday and Thursday, February 15 & 16 as well as Wednesday and Thursday, May 10 & 11 at the Crowne Plaza in Worcester.
Offered in collaboration with New England Coaching, the Leadership Transformation Training Program is geared toward individuals whose leadership style and influence has a significant impact on the culture of their organization. These executives will typically carry the titles of CEO, President, Principal, Vice President or General Manager. The program also can be customized for internal purposes for the leadership team.
Participants undergo two full days of classroom training, followed by three months of on-site project activity, allowing for the development of skills in the workplace. The on-site activity includes peer-to-peer support, bringing impartial accountability to skills development and giving executives from a variety of industries an opportunity to share ideas and best practices. The final two days of classroom training will focus on project presentations and evaluation of improvements in leadership style.
"The Leadership Transformation Training Program will provide regular mentor coaching from course leaders to optimize learning experiences, resulting in tremendous insights gained from working closely with fellow leaders from other organizations," said Jack Healy, Director of Operations, MassMEP.
Participants begin to see positive behavioral changes as well as an improvement in overall leadership effectiveness, Healy added. Executives in the program also begin to realize greater confidence and the ability to lead business forward, while generating greater respect from colleagues and company employees.
"Most leadership programs are presented using concepts but lack the development and application of the basic skills to make a difference," said Healy. "This program teaches the skills but also offers accountability factors to ensure the skills are applied."

The program also helps to create a change-receptive environment and provides the basis for creativity and continuous improvement, Healy added.
Bill Sex, President/CEO of New England Coaching will be leading this program. He and his trainers bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to this unique "hands on" training. "If you wish to make changes to your leadership style that can deliver positive results for you and your business, this program represents a quantum leap in that direction," said Sex. "Leaders are not born; they have been fortunate through circumstances to learn what it takes. We give people this opportunity as well."
Leadership Transformation Training will take place on February 15 & 16 and May 10 & 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day at the Crowne Plaza in Worcester. Early registration is encouraged, as seating is expected to fill quickly.
