MassMEP Training Seminar Builds on Lean Principles

Interactive Workshop for Massachusetts Manufacturers on March 13 at Sal’s RiverWalk

MassMEP in collaboration with Northern Essex Community College (NECC), Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM), and Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce is inviting area manufacturers to a Lean/Leadership Training Seminar on Tuesday, March 13 at Sal’s RiverWalk in Lawrence, MA. The program, Lean Foundations: Gaining the Competitive Edge is designed to help operations managers, CFOs/CEOs and other company decision makers at small or medium-sized manufacturers implement Lean principles at their facilities, which can ultimately increase productivity and their bottom line.

This day-long seminar begins with breakfast and registration at 7:30 a.m., and includes an interactive problem solving exercise by AIM, as well as a Time Wise® Lean 101 simulation from the MassMEP, where participants can observe the power of principles of Lean manufacturing through hands-on simulation and take those techniques back to their own shop floors. The event concludes at 4:00 p.m.

Registration is limited to 20 participants on a first come, first served basis. There is a limit of two participants per company.

To participate in this Lean/Leadership Training Seminar, contact Kathie Mahoney at 508-831-7020 or register online at http://www.massmep.org/events.html.
