WORCESTER, MA - The Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MassMEP) announces it will offer a series of instructional workshops across the state to highlight measures to improve productivity and affect change.
MassMEP Lean Champions Roundtable
Thursday March 12, 2009, 11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

The MassMEP will bring together Lean practitioners for a session on implementing and sustaining Lean manufacturing. The event will be held at the Toyota Boston Parts Distribution Center, a warehouse which has seen dramatic improvements in operations and delivery accuracy since adopting Lean practices.

Introduction to Training Within Industry and Change Management

MassMEP and the Associated Industries of Massachusetts will a joint training session for Training Within Industry, the set of principles that enable people to effectively create, improve, train and sustain standard work themselves. The second half of the session is on Change Management and addresses the major reasons why efforts to affect change within organizations fail.
