Training Candidates
Currently, MassMEP is running the following classes for individuals collecting unemployment benefits. Classes are not run on a set schedule, but rather, are demand driven by industry. Incumbent worker training can be found under the Workforce Development Employer/Incumbent Worker Training tab.

COURSE OFFERINGS
Advanced CNC Skills Training at WPI plus MasterCAM – 230-hour program combining MassMEP’s nationally recognized 80 hour Critical Occupational REadiness (CORE) Skills Training with 100 hours of advanced CNC instruction at WPI. Now with an optional 40-hour MasterCAM programming component and 10 hour OSHA General Industry card. 7 week class for those with previous manufacturing experience. Training Pro: 1083697.
Advanced CNC Skills Training at WPI – 180-hour program combining MassMEP’s nationally recognized 80 hour Critical Occupational REadiness (CORE) Skills Training with 100 hours of advanced CNC instruction at WPI. 7 week class for those with previous manufacturing experience. Training Pro: 1080400.
Critical Occupational REadiness (CORE) Skills Training – 80-hour program, utilizing a state-of-the-art Mobile Training Unit, has worked with local WIBs and Career Centers to achieve an impressive record of success:

MassMEP does not accept funds from individuals, nor do we provide funds for training. All funding comes from federal grants that can only be accessed through your local One Stop Career Center.
Anyone interested in participating in a MassMEP technical skills class should first contact their local One Stop Career Center. Case managers can determine funding eligibility and provide assistance with the required application.
Part of the process will include attendance at a Career Center orientation session. It is helpful to bring your birth certificate, driver’s license, resume, job search log, and proof of registration for selective service.
MassMEP is a training provider, not a placement agency, and does not have jobs available.
